Golden Retrievers: My Greatest Joy
My journey to breeding golden retrievers began with love at first sight — Lilly. The moment I saw this fluffy ball, I felt an instant connection. Lilly has always possessed a remarkable gift: the ability to communicate through her eyes, speaking louder and clearer than any words ever could. She is my people.
Through Lilly, I discovered my calling as a doula for these beautiful souls — a guide and helper participating in the sacred process of welcoming new lives into our world. I am immeasurably grateful for this honor and privilege. Just as a human doula supports families during birth, I support my golden retrievers through their journey of motherhood, ensuring every puppy enters this world surrounded by love, health, and purpose.
Golden Hearts Ranch sits on twelve acres in the Dallas–Fort Worth countryside, where our pack swims in the creek, herd our chickens (badly), and nap on the porch. I raise our puppies inside our home — never in a kennel — so they're already part of a busy, loving household before they ever meet you. Every puppy is born into the heart of our family, learning what it means to be loved from their very first moments.
"I'd rather place ten puppies a year, perfectly, than fifty in a rush."
These goldens aren't a business to me — they're a calling, a mission to spread love through conscious, caring breeding practices that honor both my goldens and the families they'll join.
When a puppy leaves us, our relationship is just beginning. I'm a text away for the first wobbly week, the first chewed shoe, and every birthday for the rest of their life.
